Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warrior

The Kiowa warrior is an advanced scout helicopter developed for the US army, it saw service since 1970 when it was involved in the Vietnam war. It saw various improvements over the years and was due to be upgraded further until it was decided that the platform be retired In January 2017. The last Kiowa Warrior performed their last live fire maneuver before their retirement in South Korea in 2017.

Its a beautiful little helicopter and was a joy to model. Sad to see them go, and we will have to see what the replacement will be. I have to give credit to the author of the pilot model which was Zen-3d From cgtrader.com , i did all the clothing in marvelous designer. The helicopter was modeled with 3DS Max and textured with Substance Painter. Rendered In Vray.
